PLUS (50+)

Purpose
A Community of those over 50 in which God’s purposes for their lives are fulfilled through fellowship, spiritual growth, service and fun.

Fellowship
One of the main purposes in the life of a church community is to expand opportunities for full participation in the fellowship of that body. Real Fellowship is more than attending services or having a potluck together. It is experiencing life together.
The Fellowship team develops: 

• Activities 
• Events 
• Programs 
• Get-togethers 
• Sharing of personal gifts of time, treasure and talents

Spiritual Growth
The purpose of the Spiritual Growth Ministry Team is to create an environment among the PLUS age groups which fosters increasing intimacy with God and progression from spiritual infancy to spiritual maturity.

Service
Service is meant to be service to and from those in the 50+ age group. Such service would depend on the talents and personnel who would step forward to be involved. Potential areas for service include: 

• Special work projects on the PCC property 
• Helping elderly and physically challenged with home maintenance, meals, transportation, etc. 
• Acting as surrogate grandparents 
• Short-term missions, domestic and international 
• Tutoring -- reading, math, etc.

Resource
This is the administrative arm of the PLUS Ministry.  This team includes event planners, graphic designers, data specialists and publicity personnel focused on improving the activities and events provided by PLUS.
