What is Skatechurch?
Skatechurch is a ministry of Peninsula Covenant Church in Redwood City California that is in its 7th year of operation. At Skatechurch we exist to reach skaters with the saving message of Jesus Christ in the way that is most relevant to them. Our program offers a positive skateboarding environment, monthly day trips to local skateparks, and yearly week long trips to Orange County and Mexico.

Sundays Every Sunday afternoon, weather permitting (except for monthly road trip weekends). The Sunday skatechurch event is a free all ages event. At each event we set up a full street course as well as opening up our 32’ wide mini-ramp.	2:00pm - 3:00pm | Open Skate Time 3:00pm - 3:30pm | Bible Talk 3:00pm - 4:30pm | Open Skate Time
Tuesday Free Skate (starts June 17th) Tuesday free skate is a two-hour skate session intended for building relationships and introducing skaters to Skatechurch. This is a “limited setup” session, which means we just take out a few ramps and open up the mini ramp. The highest level of skating is usually seen on Tuesday. All ages are welcome, but this event is geared towards skaters middle school age and older. There is no Bible message during this skate session.	7:00pm - 9:00pm during the summer 5:00pm - 7:00pm during the school year (On Wednesdays)
Wedneday Night EPIC Summer Skaters in grades 6-12 are invited to attend the Middle School Ministry or the High School Ministry from 6:30-9:00pm during the summer beginning June 18th.
Monthly Road Trips Each month we take a road trip. Nine of the months we take a one-day trip to 2 or 3 Bay Area skateparks on the third Saturday of each month. In February we take a four day trip to the Fresno area over Presidents Day weekend. In the spring we take a high school group trip to Mexico on a 9-day mission trip. In late July we take a 7-day trip to Orange county. There is no Sunday skate event on road trip weekends.

Outreach Demos
